MarineParents.com founder to speak at National County Government Month brown bag lunch

March 29, 2011

Tracy Della Vecchia

Boone County employees and the public are invited to a brown bag lunch featuring Tracy Della Vecchia, Executive Director and founder of MarineParents.com. The event is Wednesday, April 6, 12 noon-1 p.m., at Roger B. Wilson Boone County Government Center, Commission Chambers, 801 E. Walnut St., Columbia, MO.

Tracy founded MarineParents.com, Inc. in January 2003 in response to parents' needs to find information and to connect and share with one another during their children's deployments. Their free services, connections and outreach projects have expanded to support Marines, to support and educate Marine moms, dads, spouses, families and friends. MarineParents.org has helped over 50,000 Marines, recruits and family members during bootcamp, training, active duty and deployments.

Bring a lunch on Wednesday, April 6, at 12 noon and listen to Tracy share her story of how she chose to serve our veterans, armed forces and their families.

Mark your calendars!

Bring a brown bag lunch and join us for these other great speakers in April.
